Regional Chapters

Create Your Own Regional Chapter

The Military Collectors' Club of Canada’s mandate is to promote the hobby of collecting and studying history in Canada.  This activity includes collecting military and historical objects, researching and more importantly sharing what you have found with fellow members.

If you are a military or history enthusiast and would like to start a chapter in your town, we would love to help you.

Contact Martin Urquhart, Membership Chairman for information and a start-up package on how to start your regional chapter of the MCC of C.

Secretary / Treasurer & Membership:
Martin Urquhart

Edmonton Chapter

The Edmonton Chapter is about 45 years old with a flourishing membership of around fifty. A significant majority of our members and attendees are MCCofC members, but we welcome all militaria and history enthusiasts to our meetings.

An admittance of $3.00 per member is charged to defray the cost of the steward in the Sgt’s Mess where we meet. If you are in the area, we would be pleased to welcome you to one of our meetings!

Jefferson Armoury, Sergeants’ Mess, 11630-109th Street (just west of NAIT).

First Sunday of each month, 1:00 pm (doors open at 12:30 noon)

A very informative Show ‘n Tell and a mini auction of donated items. The bar has beer on tap, coffee, and you have an opportunity to network with fellow collectors. We keep the business portion of the meeting short ‘n sweet. Guests are always welcome. Militaria sales/trade items welcome – there’s room to display items for sale on tables (free)

If you are interested in more information about the benefits of membership in either the Edmonton Chapter or the National Club please contact Clinton Beck or 780-966-1930.

Southern Alberta Chapter

The Southern Alberta Chapter meets on the first Sunday of every month (Except July and August) at “The Military Museums of Calgary”, 4520 Crowchild Trail SW, Calgary, Alberta. Meetings are held in the Boardroom and start at 1:00 PM.  Parking and museum admission are free. Coffee and treats are available.

Following our business meeting and break, we conduct a mini auction of donated items and an interesting and educational show-and-tell session. So why not bring a few militaria collectables and donation items and join in.

We are always looking for new Chapter members. Chapter membership dues costs $5.00 per calendar year, in addition to the National Club annual dues.

All are more than welcome. Meeting attendance is not only open to MCC of C members and their guests but to anyone interested in militaria and military history.
